Northshore Harbor Center

Northshore Harbor Center - The Northshore Harbor Center was designed to meet the 21st-century needs of meetings planners, conventioneers and events organizers. Its versatile spaces, which include an exhibit/banquet/assembly hall, recital hall and meeting rooms, can be easily reconfigured for a small meeting or a convention of 2,500 people. The 45,000-sq.-ft. facility is a smart alternative for performances, social events, athletic tournaments, conferences and tradeshows, thanks to its high-tech design. The NHC’s multi-purpose kitchen can be used for additional space and is a great facility for culinary events and competitions. This venue also offers Wi-Fi throughout the building and high-speed data ports in the exhibit spaces. There’s electricity, water and telephone capability every 30 feet in the exhibit area.

Castine Center

Castine Center - The Castine Center is equipped with 2,700 sq. ft. of meeting space that can be divided into four meeting rooms, as well as two 25' x 25' rooms with a movable wall for meetings, training sessions or changing rooms for weddings and special events. A covered porte cochere makes for convenient arrivals and departures. The Castine Center is also equipped with a 900-sq.-ft. caterer's warming kitchen with a locked storage area and two 20' x 20' outdoor cooking pads adjacent to the kitchen for seafood boiling. The Castine Center is ideal for tradeshow and convention registrations or cocktail hours preceding banquets.

Holiday Inn Covington - The Holiday Inn Covington boasts a hands-on meeting staff to ensure that every facet of every conference runs smoothly. With more than 8,500 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, the Holiday Inn Covington can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 300 for meetings, receptions or banquets. It also offers an extensive selection of audio-visual equipment, as well as a professional on-site catering staff to assist in planning your event.

Courtyard by Marriott

Courtyard by Marriott - The Courtyard by Marriott Conference Center in Covington features four meeting rooms with a total of 3,200 sq. ft. of meeting space. The largest meeting room is Courtyard Patio with maximum meeting space of 2,275 sq. ft. and maximum seating capacity of 200. The Courtyard by Marriott is a full-service hotel surrounded by duck ponds and free parking.

Rivers Retreat Conference Center

The Rivers Retreat Center is a unique, beautiful setting for meetings or corporate retreats. Located alongside the Little Tchefuncte River, it offers two meeting facilities -- a 2,800-square-foot conference center (seats 400 chairs only or 200 with tables and chairs) and a 3,500-square-foot screened-in hand-crafted pavilion (seats 550 chairs only or 253 with tables and chairs). The Rivers is also a B&B, with a 40-guest capacity (9 cozy cabins), dining hall with catering services and many amenities. www.theriversretreat.com

The Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum has theater-style seating and 3,500 sq. ft. of meeting space.

The Feast Gallery Meeting Facility is conveniently located near two hotels and features in-house catering, dropdown screens and video projection, as well as a state-of-the-art sound system for a 30- to 300-person meeting.
