The City of Mandeville and the Old Mandeville Business Association (OMBA) present A Christmas Past Festival on Saturday, December 8, 2018, all along Girod Street in Mandeville.
The festival offers an old-time holiday atmosphere with 100+ booths of fine art, artisan crafts, clothing and gifts for everyone on your shopping list, food and beverages, and more. Enjoy live musical performances, Children's Snow Village, train rides, carriage rides, face painting, games, costumed characters, Irish dancers, Northshore Roller Derby and more. The event is 9:00am to 3:00pm throughout historic old Mandeville.
After the festival, be sure to head over to the lakefront, 4-6pm, for Winter on the Water, taking place along Lakeshore Drive from Pontchartrain Yacht Harbor to the Gazebo. The fun begins with Santa's walking parade at 4:00pm at the harbor and concludes at the Gazebo, where Mandeville Mayor Don Villere welcomes performers on the quaint stage, and then conducts the lighting of the beautiful lakefront live oaks. The event concludes with the annual boat parade. Remember to bring cameras for pictures with Santa!
