Olde Towne Slidell Main Street presents its first A Taste of Olde Towne, a five-day, food, wine and arts celebration and fundraiser, October 25-29, 2017.
Carey Street merchants get things rolling on Wednesday night with the Inaugural Farm-to-Table Kick-Off, and the festival continues through Sunday with a Jazz Brunch. Events include: wine dinners at premier Slidell restaurants, a Grand Tasting event on the grounds of the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, and a full day of events on Saturday, beginning with the Premium Tasting, and wrapping up the event on Sunday is a Champagne Brunch, tentatively scheduled at Palmetto's on the Bayou.

A five-course farm-to-table meal prepared by Olde Towne restaurants with 5 wine pairings. Seating limited to 100; ticket price on website.
Thursday, October 26
Nathan’s, Palmettos on the Bayou, Restaurant Coté, Michael’s, Joe’s Italian
Each restaurant prepares a meal with wine pairings. A minimum of 40 tickets will be available at each restaurant Tickets are $75 each, with $25 of first 40 tickets sold will benefit the fundraiser.
Friday, October 27
The Grand Tasting
East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, 1808 Front Street (tented parking lot)
Features food and music to be announced. Tickets are $40 each (limited to 300) and includes logo-etched wine glasses (art by artist Adam Sambola).
Saturday, October 28
The Premium Tasting
Location TBD, either The Wine Garden at 300 Robert St. or Patton’s at 127 Cleveland Ave.

Sunday, October 29
Champagne Jazz Brunch
Palmetto’s on the Bayou
One seating, by reservation only – make reservations through the restaurant (only). Tickets are $40 each with $20 per reservation to benefit fundraiser. Music to be announced on website.
