Bogue Falaya River Sweep

Keep Covington Beautiful in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the City of Covington and Canoe and Trail Adventures presents the Bogue Falaya River Sweep Litter Clean up, September 30, 2017, from 9am to noon. Volunteers should meet at the Menetre (4th Street) boat launch.

Clean-up suppplies wil be provided, and some kayaks will be available; it is recommended to bring own kayak or canoe, and a personal flotation device (life jacket) is required for all volunteers (not provided by event coordinators). A picnic for all volunteers and paddlers follows the cleanup, to be held at the small pavilion in Bogue Falaya Park.
