The St. Tammany Art Association, in partnership with the City of Covington, presents the Covington Art Market, a juried market of visual arts and crafts held six times per year on first Saturdays--March, April, May, October, November and December.
Held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire Street in downtown Covington, the market presents a variety of work from area artists, including paintings, functional pottery, sculpture, jewelry, photography, woodworking, fiber art, wearable art and more. Also, enjoy live acoustic music from the nearby stage and food vendors nearby.

Art market patrons are also encouraged to visit the Saturday Farmers Market, which takes place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the grounds of nearby Covington Police Department, 609 N. Columbia Street--walking distance of the Covington Trailhead.
