Join the St. Tammany Art Association for the Covington Holiday Art Market in Art Alley, in the 300 block of North Columbia St. in downtown Covington. The event will take place Sunday, December 3, 9 am to 1 pm. Admission is free.
Previous markets have featured artists offering a variety of works, including pottery, hand-carved stone, hand-turned wooden bowls, acrylic and oil paintings, photography, jewelry, mixed media and handmade bags and accessories. Refreshments will be available for a nominal charge.
This market is the kickoff of Shop Local Artists Week in Covington, and is the closing day of Self/Reflection: Photographs from the New Orleans Museum of Art.
Produced by the St. Tammany Art Association in partnership with the City of Covington, the Covington Art Market is a juried market of visual arts and crafts held six times per year, generally on first Saturdays--March, April, May, October, November and December. Art Alley is located in the parking access alley between St. Tammany Art Association and H.J. Smith's General Store. Parking is free throughout the walkable district.
