The St. Tammany Art Association and Painting with a Twist, along with the sponsorship and support of Covington businesses, galleries and restaurants, present Fall for Art 2017.
The free event showcases new works and one-night-only shows at Covington's many art galleries and shops, all by local, regional and nationally-renowned artists. Patrons will enjoy an evening of live music at multiple locations, indoors and out, art demonstrations and special performances, and shopping at any of dozens of couture fashion boutiques, antique and home furnishings shops, and more.
A PDF map of participating businesses and events, including a schedule of music and other performances, will be posted at www.sttammanyartassociation.org, or download the Fall for Art mobile app (iOS) from the App Store. Follow STAA on Facebook for up-to-date information on performing and visual artists.
Long known for its stellar dining scene, Covington is home to a combination of several fine dining restaurants with award-winning chefs as well as bistros and cafés with lighter fare. Round out the evening with dancing and drinks at the town's nightspots, such as Columbia Street Rockin' Blues, Wharton's, Columbia Street Tap Room and Seiler Bar, and other locations.
