The Covington Heritage Foundation presents "History and Holly," a holiday tour of historic homes in Covington, on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 3pm to 7pm.
This year's theme is "Then and Now," as the tour will include homes dating back to the turn of the century and homes built within the last ten years, thus proving that new construction can be successfully incorporated into historic neighborhoods. Because many of the homes have steep steps or second floors, this tour is not handicapped accessible. A tram will travel down North New Hampshire which is within one block of most homes and will also make parking in the vicinity easy.
TICKETS WILL BE LIMITED SO PURCHASE YOURS EARLY. Tickets are $20. Advance ticket sales will begin November 15th at Braswell Drugs, the Southern Hotel, and Hebert Cleaners. Day-of-event tickets will be available at St. Cecelia Hall, 131 N. New Hampshire Street in Covington.
