The Jane Austen Foundation of LA, Inc. presents the Jane Austen Literary Festival Regency Ball in Old Mandeville on Saturday, April 14, 2018.
The festival celebrates the life and times of English Jane Austen, author of such enduring novels as Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility and Mansfield Park. Austen lived in the Regency Era in England from the late 1700's to mid-1800's, and this festival offers the opportunity to bring the era to life once again.
The Regency Ball is an opportunity for fans of the author to costume in Regency-Victorian era English attire and enjoy entertainment to be announced. The Ball will take place at the Mandeville Trailhead, 675 Lafitte St. For details and tickets, please visit the website or Facebook page.
