The East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity presents a day of tribute and honor for all veterans, the Louisiana Veterans Festival, on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
This year, the festival moves from the Northshore Harbor Center to Slidell's Heritage Park at 1701 Bayou Lane.
Hosted by the East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity to benefit its Veterans' Build Program providing affordable homes for deserving veterans, this festival provides an opportunity for families and friends to celebrate and thank our veterans for their service. Enjoy great entertainment, unique arts and crafts, a car, truck and motorcycle exhibition, food and beverages and children’s activities.
Events begin at 11am with Veteran’s Tribute Ceremony, 11am to 1pm, featuring the WWII Museum Victory Belles! The live music lineup includes: Zebra, 90 Degrees West, Eli Seals Band and The Top Cats. The festival continues through 9pm. General Admission is $15, $5 for veterans and children under 12 admitted free.
