The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) embarks on a fantastic musical voyage with its 26th season, featuring a rich variety of music from our past and present and around the world.

On the itinerary are exotic locales, including Paris (Gershwin's An American in Paris), Scotland (Mendelssohn's "Scottish" Symphony), the Middle East (Saint-Saens' "Egyptian" Piano Concerto), America (Antonín Leopold Dvořák's "New World" Symphony), and even the final frontier with Holst's The Planets, and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial with Orchestra.

The LPO provides individual tickets for $20-55, some concerts are free, and a variety of season subscription packages, including subscriber discounts and other member benefits, are available.

The 2016-2017 season will be performed at four locations in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana:

- Heritage Park, 1701 Bayou Lane, Slidell

- Bogue Falaya Park, 213 Park Drive, Covington

- Mandeville Lakefront, Lakeshore Drive near Coffee and Carroll Sts., Mandeville

 

Concert times and ticket prices vary, and some concerts are free.Performances include a pre-concert talk with the conductor one hour prior to each performance.
