The 7th annual Pontchartrain Film Festival will be held Nov. 2-3, 2018 at the Mandeville Trailhead Depot Museum, 675 Lafitte Street.

The Pontchartrain Film Festival focuses on filmmaking as an art form, with educational programs that include a filmmakers' forum, exhibits and hands-on workshops to engage the public with the local film economy and training opportunities. The festival weekend is held each year on the first weekend in November and has become a unique culural arts event that draws filmmakers and audiences from throughout the region.

TICKETS
Admission is $5 for the Friday night feature, and one $5 admission will get viewers into any of the screenings on Saturday. Tickets available in advance at www.pontchartrainfilmfestival.com/tickets and at the door, as space is available.


PROGRAM SCHEDULE

Opening Night Feature: The festival opens on Friday, Nov. 2 with the feature Leah Chase: The Queen of Creole Cuisine, to begin at 7:00 pm. A meet-and-greet with filmmaker Bess Carrick and executive producer Jim Dotson begins at 6:30 pm.

Louisiana Made Short Films: At 3:00 pm on Saturday, Nov. 3, the festival continues with the PFF7 Short Film Showcase, a curated selection of films by emerging Louisiana filmmmakers. Q&A with filmmamers in attendance.

Louisiana Film Prize Winners: At 5:00 pm, see the Top 5 Louisiana Film Prize winners, including the $50,000 winner.

PFF7 FALL TOUR
The 2018 Pontchartrain Film Festival Tour, in its second year, will bring a curated selection of films made by Louisiana filmmakers or with subjects of interest to Louisiana residents on a multi-city tour in the months leading up to the November festival. Three films are planned.
