Bayou Paddle Company and The Spokesman Professional Bicycle Works are proud to present for the first time on the Bogue Falaya River a Standup Paddle Race.
Bayou Paddle Company and The Chimes have teamed up to present the 2013
Battle on the Bayou Standup Paddle
Relay Race.

The race will be held on Sunday, July 7th with teams of 2 or 4 paddling in a relay fashion. All races will be provided with standup paddle boards, paddles and life vest. Relay teams can compete in three divisions: Female, Male, or Coed. A discounted rate and Demo Class is also available for the Varsity Sports “Hot 100” Athletes who are entered in the 2013 Summer Varsity Sports Event.

***BOARDS, PADDLES & LIFE VESTS PROVIDED.***


The race begins at 9am and is free for spectators. An after-party with awards will follow.

Register at The Chimes, or at fellow sponsors Covington Brewhouse, The Spokesman Pro Bike Works, Varsity Sports Mandeville or Yolo Board, or email msalvetti@live.com.

The race will take place rain or shine BUT the race director reserves the right to modify the course or start time for the safety of the participants!
Proceeds from the event are donated to Have a Heart Thru Art and therefore the
event fee is non-refundable.
Location: Bogue Falaya River by The Chimes Restaurant
Hours: 7am Registration, 9am Race
Admission: Free for Spectators; entry fees vary
