Start the weekend off with OMBA enjoying holiday spirits at your favorite Old Mandeville business. With 14 stops in all, including non-alcoholic holiday beverages at each stop for the kiddies, this event is not to be missed. The stroll begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Mugs are $15 on the day of event, or purchase mugs in advance for $10 at Das Schulerhaus Gift Gallery & Christmas Boutique, K.Gee's Restaurant & Oyster Bar and Varsity Sports. After the stroll, head down to the Mandeville Trailhead at 7:00 p.m. to sing along to classic Christmas carols with the city-wide choir ensemble hosted by The City of Mandeville. Candles and song sheets will be provided--all free.

On Saturday, the Annual Winter on the Water (WOW) at the Mandeville Lakefront begins with Santa’s parade at 4:00 on Lakeshore drive at the harbor and ends at the Gazebo. While waiting for the parade to arrive, enjoy live entertainment at the gazebo featuring seasonal music performed Benny Grunch and the Bunch, Mandeville Elementary School, and scenes from the Nutcracker performed by Ballet Apetrei. Mayor Donald Villere will arrive at the gazebo along with Santa to light the oaks at approximately 5:15. The event concludes with the annual boat parade. Remember to bring cameras for pictures with Santa!
