Formerly known as the Louisiana Busker Festival, the Abita Springs Busker Festival and Ann O'Brien Craft Festival are held jointly each spring at the Abita Springs Trailhead Park.
One of the most popular and well attended outdoor events in Abita, the event includes live music, great food, drinks, and an arts and crafts marketplace featuring works by professional artists, craftsmen and craftswomen in the Ann O'Brien Craft Festival. Visitors will find woodworking, pottery, jewelry, metalworking, paintings and more.
All events are free and open to the public, and parking is free. Proceeds and donations go to support the Abita Springs Museum. The festival is sponsored by the Abita Springs Opry, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Abita Springs Trailhead Museum.
The event is also streamed live by WWOZ-FM, 90.7 FM New Orleans, at www.wwoz.org.
