Spend a day off with the family making memories. Go solo and commune with nature, and bring home dinner. Pier fishing is easy at the St. Tammany Parish Fishing Pier. Catch redfish, spotted trout, sheepshead, flounder, drum, Atlantic croaker, blue crab and more, and clean them on the spot.
Staffed by Parish Pier Patrol during operating hours, the St. Tammany Parish Fishing Pier has everything you need to hang a hook for a few hours and catch your limit, including fish cleaning tables, vending machines, restrooms and covered gazebos to get out of the sun. You'll need to bring a pole and a box to hold your catch, and have a valid fishing license, too.* For rules on use of the pier, tips on what to bring and more, visit http://www.sttammanyfishingpier.com/index.php/trip-essentials.
