Wicked Fishing Charters Mandeville is a family owned company that provides chartered fishing trips in Mandeville, Slidell and Lake Catherine areas, scenic kayak tours and makes custom fishing rods for the serious angler.

Launching from Jackson Street boat launch, across from the Pontchartrain Yacht Club, or The Dock Slidell, Wicked fishes the seasonal bite of Lake Pontchartrain, Causeway and Slidell in Fall/Winter season (October to February) and spring (late March to early June). Also, upon request April-September, Saturday and Sunday. Monday-Friday day trips depart late afternoon, until sunset.

• Marsh charters (AKA "Kraken fishing") is for those with a sense of adventure, targeting Alligator Gar, Bull Sharks and Bull Reds. Catch-and-release shark fishing available in summer months--bring your camera!

• Scenic tours on Cane Bayou are offered for 1-4 paddlers with a guide, or up to 5 people without a guide. Packages start at $50 per kayak; kayak delivery and pick-up and optional drinks and snacks provided.

• Scenic tours of Bayou Castine or Bayou Lacombe are also available--2 hour Bayou Cruises and Sunset Cruises for up to four people. Bring beverages, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent and a camera. "Gar Gear" shirts, hats, tumblers, koozies and more available for purchase (see website).

• For serious anglers, master rod builder Tyler Jones offers highly customized fishing rods. Also, ask about specials for campers staying in Fontainebleau State Park, and discounts offered for parent-child trips, law enforcement, military and first responders.
