When Kim Bergeron and Donna O’Daniels watched the impact of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast, they felt the need to respond. The two women are already community leaders — Bergeron as director of cultural affairs for the City of Slidell and O’Daniels as President and CEO of the St. Tammany Parish Tourist and Convention Commission – and knew they had contacts within St. Tammany and beyond. But how could they best organize local donors to make a difference in far-away New Jersey?

Producer Tom Gregory calls St. Tammany “A Magical Place” The Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced its 36th Annual Emmy nominations on October 17th, and the ‘Go Coast: Louisiana – The Northshore’ episode received a nomination for the Best Magazine Program. The program’s host, Tom Gregory, was also nominated for Best On-Camera Talent – Performer/Narrator.
9/14/2012 St. Tammany Tourist Commission Shows Dallas What's Cooking in the Parish
The St. Tammany Parish Tourist Commission brought Keith and Nealy Frentz, proprietor/chefs of LOLA in downtown Covington, to Texas this week to highlight the parish's exciting culinary scene. The Frentzes were the only chefs showcased at A Taste of Louisiana! reception September 12, co-hosted by Texas Monthly magazine and Louisiana Travel Promotion Association to promote the Louisiana Culinary Trails program.
