It's the Hospice Foundation of the South’s signature event! The largest one-day event on the Northshore boasts over 50,000 pounds of crawfish boiled by 50+ teams competing for the title of “Best Crawfish in St. Tammany Parish" in Slidell's 17th Annual Crawfish Cook-off on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
Celebrity judges and competing teams decide the winners. Included in your admission is all the crawfish you can eat and local musicians entertaining the crowd of 8,000+. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
Held in Slidell's Fritchie Park, 905 W. Howze Beach Rd, admission for ages 13 and up is $30 in advance, $35 at the gate*. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Kid Zone tickets are $20. Advance tickets available on Eventbrite and at all Whitney Banks.
Kids' Zone is not included in free admission.
No outside food or drink, ice chests, tables or tents allowed.
Parking with free shuttle to the event will be available at Salmen High School, Calvary Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, and the old outlet mall (park in the area farthest from the Interstate).
If you don't want to ride the school bus there is a paid lot on W. Howze Beach Rd past Spartan High School; parking is $10 and will directly benefit the Hospice House.
Event is rain or shine. No refunds will be given.

*No outside food or drink, ice chests, tables, tents or animals will be permitted inside the park. All crawfish must be consumed on premises (no "crawfish to go"). Blankets, folding/festival chairs and small umbrellas are permitted. Don't forget your dancing shoes, sunscreen and your favorite festing hat!
