The St. Tammany Art Association presents its 54th National Juried Artists Exhibition, the Summer Show, from July 13 to August 17, 2019.
The Summer Show, an annual highlight of the nonprofit arts organization, is open to artists nationwide who must submit works completed in the past two years. An artists' reception on July 26, during the Columbia Street Block Party, will feature awards for artists whose pieces were selected for recognition by the juror, including the $1,000 Best of Show prize. The reception is rescheduled from July 13 due to Tropical Storm Barry.
The exhibition will conclude on August 17 with a closing event in conjunction with Covington White Linen for Public Art, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This exhibition is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs.
The St. Tammany Art Association’s Art House is located at 320 N. Columbia St. in historic downtown Covington.
