Abita Springs En Plein Air Exhibition, featuring approximately 75 paintings of Louisiana landscapes made on location ("in the open air") during the current year, will be on display in the Abita Springs Trailhead Museum April 28-30, 2023.
An opening reception will be held in the museum* from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, where free food, wine and Abita Beer will be served. The show and sale continues 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday; however, collectors are encouraged to attend the opening, as this is when most paintings are sold. Admission to all events is free.
Participating artists included in the show will be announced as the event nears.
The Abita Springs Trailhead Museum is located in the heart of town at 22044 Main St. across from the historic two-story gazebo. A portion of sales benefit the Trailhead Museum.
