Maritime Museum Louisiana in Madisonville presents the 8th Annual Anchor Classic Golf Tournament on Friday, May 5 at Carter Plantation in Springfield, La.
Admission is $125 per player and $500 per team (4-person scramble). Admission includes cart and green fees, goody bags and food & beverages in the tented refreshment area. Contests for Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Dice Roll, Beat the Pro, and Hole-In-One. Registration begins at 11 a.m., tee-off is 12:30 p.m.
The Anchor Classic Golf Tournament is a fundraising event for Madisonville's annual fun family event, the Wooden Boat Festival, a two-day celebration of Louisiana's maritime culture that attracts hundreds of wooden boat enthusiasts from across the U.S. each October.
