Come to Olde Towne Slidell on Saturday, April 15, 2023, for a night of art, music and fun at the City of Slidell's 27th annual celebration of the arts, Arts Evening. This is a rescheduled date from March 25. The festival takes place 5-9 p.m. throughout the Olde Towne area and admission is free.
Arts Evening is one of the largest and most celebrated cultural festivals on the Northshore, an entertaining evening filled with art, food, live music, dancing, fine dining, antique, boutique and unique shopping. Over 100 artists and art organizations will display their works at locations throughout Olde Towne, with live music and entertainment throughout. Whether it’s classic rock, R&B, jazz, variety, rock ’n’ roll or acoustic, there’s something for every musical taste.
In addition to visual and performing artists, patrons will enjoy fine and casual dining at participating Arts Evening restaurants and opportunities to shop for antiques, furnishings and more in Olde Towne's boutiques.
The featured exhibition at Slidell Cultural Center at City Hall will be announced. The opening reception for the exhibit will be held Friday, March 23, 5-7 p.m. It will be on display to the public March 25-May 5, 2023. Admission is free.
