This class is designed to introduce artists to the use and application of acrylic paint. This class will focus on the basic structure of cubes, spheres, cones and cylinders. Students will use these forms in creating several acrylic paintings, allowing them to work at their own pace. Students will use canvas and distinct acrylic colors to create beautiful pieces of art.
This 6-week class meets 1-4 p.m. Thursdays on August 11, 18, 25, and September 1, 8 and 15. Admission is $185 for members of the St. Tammany Art Association, $210 for non-members. Minimum age: 17.
