Bluesberry Festival, the Louisiana Northshore’s newest celebration of the arts, returns for its third year on Saturday, October 8, 2022 in Covington's riverside Bogue Falaya Wayside Park.

Bluesberry Festival is a family-friendly celebration of world-class music, art, food and culture with a blueberry twist at every turn:

  • Music: regional and national Blues-centric artists from 12 p.m.-9 p.m. (see lineup below)
  • Art: live art demonstrations, an interactive art tent and 20+ vendor booths featuring regional artists
  • Food Truck Roundup: local favorite food trucks serving dishes that incorporate blueberries
  • Children's Village: interactive entertainment and art activities, sponsored by Senator Patrick McMath
  • Gallardo Signs Beer Garden: locally crafted brews from Abita Brewery, including Abita Blueberry, which is brewed exclusively for Bluesberry Festival
  • Gulf Coast Bank Relaxation Station - cooling tent where patrons can relax, hang out and grab a cold beverage.

Headlining this full-day celebration of blues music and the arts is award-winning blues artist and Kansas City native Samantha Fish. Over the years, Fish has maintained her reputation as a phenomenal live act, drawing large crowds and repeatedly turning out critically acclaimed albums and an ever-growing list of accolades.
Other featured performances include Americana stalwarts The Band of Heathens from Austin, TX, a crowd favorite from Bluesberry’s 2021 festival; Louisiana Music Hall of Fame inductee and Guitar Center’s 2011 “King of the Blues” winner Jonathon "Boogie" Long; Louisiana Music Hall of Fame inductee and local favorite J.J. Muggler Band; and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jake Gunter. Local and regional songwriters will also perform on the Ozone Songwriters Stage in the park pavilion this year!
