Pony rides, music and live entertainment, a petting zoo, games, arts and crafts, food vendors and more will be featured at the 4th annual Camellia City Kids Fun Fest on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Slidell's Heritage Park. Admission is $5 per person and all activities are included with admission.
Past events have also included St. Tammany Fire District 1's "smoke house" to teach kids about fire safety and prevention, a giant maze, games and more.
Heritage Park is located at 1701 Bayou Lane, Slidell. All proceeds benefit Riley's Bikes, a local charity that provides customized bikes for children with special needs.
The Camellia City Kids Fun Fest began as a Leadership Northshore event by the class of 2016, including Lt. Ray Dupuy of the Slidell Police Department, who passed away last year. This event is held in his honor.
