The Covington Trailhead and surrounding area will be transformed into an elegant venue for the Northshore’s premier fundraising event for the Youth Service Bureau, Chef Soirée, on Sunday, June 13, 2021, 5pm to 9pm, returning to Bogue Falaya Park, Covington.
The 37th annual Chef Soirée, presented by Chevron, features tasting-size portions of delicious food and beverages from dozens of northshore restaurants and food and beverage purveyors and live music. A highlight of the evening is the drawing of the winning raffle ticket: Banner Ford has once again graciously donated the choice of a 2021 Ford Mustang or Ford Escape. Raffle tickets are $25 each or 5 tickets for $100.
Ticket sales information will be announced on ChefSoiree.com. Early-bird admission is usually $125, then $145 per person in advance or at the gate. For more information, call the Youth Service Bureau at (985) 893-2570.
All proceeds from Chef Soiree benefit the Youth Service Bureau's programs of advocacy, counseling, education, and intervention for at-risk youth in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes, helping them reach their full potential. Critical funds help YSB serve over 1,890 children a year. YSB is currently serving 25% more children than just 5 years ago.
Programs include Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Crossroads (delinquency intervention), Families In Need of Services (FINS), Options (adolescent substance abuse treatment), and Early Truancy Intervention (TASC).
