Bring lawn chairs and blankets to Rev. Peter Atkins Park in Covington for the next Chillin' at the River concert featuring DAT Band, April 15, 5:30-8:00 pm. The free concert is presented by the Office of Cultural Arts and Events and is weather permitting.
The spring 2021 lineup features five concerts on Thursdays in April, at three locations: Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire St., Bogue Falaya Wayside Park, 213 Park Drive, and Rev. Peter Atkins Park, 701 N. Tyler St.
April 1 - John Boutté at Covington Trailhead
April 8 - Typically Booked at Bogue Falaya Park
April 22 - Fermin Ceballos at Covington Trailhead
April 29 - Christian Serpas and Ghost Town "Go Country" at Bogue Falaya Park
May 15 - DAT Band "Soul Train Revue" at Rev. Peter Atkins Park - rescheduled from April 15
Food or drink sales are not available; guests are welcome to bring ice chests/picnics/adult beverages if they wish. Parking is free at nearby public parking oxlots and throughout the downtown neighborhoods. Please be sure not to block driveways.
