Admission to the event is free, and attendees are encouraged to get in the holiday spirit – costumes and holiday attire add to the festive atmosphere! Admission to the festival is FREE!
“Whether you’re looking to do some Christmas shopping, take the kids out for a holiday outing, or simply enjoy some great food and live music in Old Mandeville, Christmas Past Festival has something for everyone,” says OMBA Board Member Rikki Gallup. “This year’s festival will be bigger than ever before, and there will be even more fun activities for families to enjoy together.”
Elements at this year’s event include a Children’s Village with arts and crafts; a food court featuring a variety of local vendors like Isabella’s Pizza, Rob’s Rock’n Dogs, Creole Tomateaux and Paella NOLA. In addition, attendees will enjoy live musical performances from Box Office Giants from 11AM-2PM outside the Rusty Pelican, and UMPHY, 11AM-2PM in the food court. There will also be train rides, horse and carriage rides, and roaming holiday characters like The Grinch, Cindy Lou Who and Frosty the Snowman, as well as Christmas carolers. Santa Claus will also be present for photos with the kids near Das Schulerhaus Gift Gallery and Christmas Boutique.
