Get ready for one of the Northshore’s premier holiday events – the Old Mandeville Business Association’s 17th annual Christmas Past Market! The market will take place on Girod Street in Old Mandeville on Saturday, December 12 from 10 AM to 4 PM (Rain Date: December 13).

The event will feature more than 75 artists, craftsmen and merchants from across the Greater New Orleans area. This year's theme, “Christmas Past Classics,” will give nod to classic holiday films including The Grinch, The Santa Clause, A Christmas Carol, Elf and Polar Express. Admission to the event is free, and attendees are encouraged to get in the holiday spirit – costumes and holiday attire add to the festive atmosphere!

“Local artists and merchants need our support now more than ever. The Old Mandeville Business Association encourages patrons to invest back into their community by shopping locally for their holiday gifts,” says Old Mandeville Business Association Board Member Rikki Gallup. “As one of the Northshore’s most popular holiday events, Christmas Past is a fantastic way to get the whole family in the holiday spirit while supporting local.”

Elements at this year’s event include children’s art and craft activities, local food vendors, and singing/roaming holiday characters. In addition, attendees will enjoy live musical performances by a trio from the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.

For additional information, be sure to follow the Old Mandeville Business Association on Facebook.

Admission is free and parking is free throughout the area. For more information, visit www.oldmandevillebiz.com.
