The St. Tammany Art Association presents Contemporary Clay: Image & Form, on display February 8 through March 28, 2020 in the Miriam Barranger Gallery of the St. Tammany Art Association in Covington, LA.
Contemporary Clay is an exhibition of ceramics that explore surface design and its relationship with form. Works were selected from a nationally recognized field of ceramicists by Jeremy Jernegan, Head of Ceramics at Newcomb Art and former board member, and Fellow of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA).
An opening reception will be held 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 in coordination with the Second Saturday Art Walk in downtown Covington. An Artists' Talk precedes the opening, beginning at 4:00 p.m, sponsored by Russ Varnado.
The St. Tammany Art Association is located at 320 N. Columbia Street, Covington, LA 70433. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All exhibitions are free and open to the public unless otherwise indicated.
