The Covington Concert Band, under the direction of Erik Morales, presents their spring concert, "Summon the Heroes" on Friday, April 14 at the Castine Center in Pelican Park, 63350 Pelican Dr., Mandeville, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The program will feature guest conductor and composer, Dr. Quincy Hilliard, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and will include some of your favorite hero themes including the theme from "Superman", "The Incredibles", "Summon the Heroes" and more. Admission is free.
