Film Talks at STAA

The St. Tammany Art Association and the Pontchartrain Film Festival present a new media arts program for all ages titled Film Talks, a program that brings noted film professors to the STAA Art House Gallery for informal conversations on film. Imagine film school, without the tests.

Film Talks will be held Wednesdays from July 17 through August 7, 2019, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the St. Tammany Art Association, 320 N. Columbia St. in downtown Covington. Admission is free.

The series opens July 17 with Mari Kornhauser, LSU professor of Screenwriting and continues July 24 with Mike Miley, professor of Film Studies, Loyola; July 31 with Dylan Mininger, film editing instructor, UNO; and series closes August 7 with Angela Catalano, UNO professor of Film & Theater at the University of New Orleans (rescheduled from July 10).
