Bring a lawn chair or a blanket to lay out under the trees for live music on the grounds behind Giddy Up. The event is free and all ages are welcome. Monthly artists perform Americana, Folk, New Orleans R&B, Blues, Country, Jazz, Latin, Bluegrass and more, either acoustic or lightly amplified.

Artists featured have included Big Daddy O, The Daryls, The Chris Talley Three Rivers Cooperative, Christian Serpas & Ghost Town, The Ben Redwine Jazz Band, Carlo Ditta, Carly Wascom, The Necessary Gentlemen, The Abita Stumps, Zac Maras, The Dirty Rain Revelers, The Mo Jelly Band, The Bernie Cyrus Band and more. Gates open at 6 p.m., music is 7-9 p.m. (last call at 8:30 p.m.). Admission is free; however, donations to the musicians are encouraged.

FOOD ON SITE - so come hungry! Giddy Up Gumbo, the full café menu, alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, hard liquor) and Bee Sweet concessions (seasonally). Please, no outside beverages or glass containers.

Far Horizons Art Gallery will be open for browsing. Some events include a Cruise Night. On those nights, parking begins at 4 p.m. Follow Giddy Up on Facebook for dates and details.

First Friday Events are set to recur as a monthly community gathering, outdoors, weather permitting.
Music will strictly be outside, however, the indoor café will remain open for dining.
