Fontainebleau State Park is well known for its popular water-side cabins and camping, sandy beach and loads of hiking trails among giant live oaks. The park also offers a variety of educational programs and tours.
Join the Interpretive Ranger for morning hike on the nature trail each Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., from March 19 - Aug. 6, 2022. Topics discussed will vary and may include plant identification, foraging, park wildlife and the history of Fontainebleau. Reservations are required for large groups and can be made at 985-624-4130. Bug spray and sunscreen are encouraged.
Educational programs are free, but entrance fee to the park is $3.00 per person for ages 4-62, free for ages 3 and under and 63 and up.
