Bring chairs, blankets, family and friends to Abita Springs' Trailhead & Park July 3 and 4, 2021, for 2-day Independence Day celebration! Admission is free.

Saturday, July 3rd is the Battle for the Paddle Jambalaya Cook-off. Teams can enter with a $50 fee (for info, contact Walley Borries at wborries@gmail.com). Sunday, July 4th is the Independence Day celebration featuring live music by Four Unplugged and fireworks. Be sure to grab your spot around 8:30, fireworks start at 9 p.m.

8 a.m.-12 p.m. - Jambalaya Team Setup/Cooking
11 a.m.- 4 p.m. - Live Music
1-4 p.m. - All You Care to Eat Jambalaya
4 p.m. - Awards presented

Sunday, July 4
11 a.m.-3 p.m. - Farmers Market
6-9 p.m. - Four Unplugged
9 p.m. - Fireworks
