The Camp Salmen Nature Park in Slidell will host the Hospice House Memorial Butterfly Release on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2pm. Marking five years of serving the Greater Slidell community, Hospice House will celebrate the 160 families that have come through its doors by having a butterfly release in memory of their loved ones. The event is free and open to the public.
If you and your family wish to remember a loved one in this special way, you may purchase/donate $20 per butterfly for a memorial butterfly to be released in their name. Anyone can be honored, not just guests at the Hospice House. Forms and checks/money can be mailed to the foundation for those who do not wish to purchase online.
All donations will support Hospice House. The Hospice Foundation of the South is dedicated to providing resources for medical and emotional care for terminally ill patients and their families. We manage the Hospice House, a home designed to allow terminally ill patients who are in a preferred hospice program with the Hospice Foundation, a place to stay during their final days at no cost.
