Come to Pelican Park's Castine Center in Mandeville on June 22, 2019 for the 8th Annual Larry Hartzog Twisted Brew Fest and Home Brewer's Competition!
Held inside the cool Castine Center (that’s A/C in June!), the event features a Beer Garden with over 200 beer samplings from homebrew and commercial breweries around the state. Breweries will be serving their top sellers along with their newest brews. Attendees can also enjoy delicious food, music, and a people’s choice competition among the homebrews.
General Admission is $30 in advance and $40 at the door and includes all beer samplings (Designated Drivers, $10/advance and $15/door). Doors open at 4:00 pm (3:00 pm VIP).
VIP admission is $50. Early entrance begins at 3:00 pm for VIP and will include special food and beer samplings available only to VIP ticket holders. Only 100 VIP wristbands will be sold.
Save $5 for each ticket and long lines by getting your ticket in advance on EventBrite. You must bring your printed ticket to the event or show in the EventBrite app.
Larry Hartzog's Twisted Brew Fest t-shirts are also available for $15 on EventBrite.
No outside drinks or food are permitted, but feel free to bring the puppers and doggos: this event is dog-friendly! The Northshore Humane Society will also bring animals for adoption.
People's Choice Contest
Each paid ticket into the festival will be allowed to vote on their favorite home-brewed beer. Designated drivers will not receive a vote. The homebrewer who receives the most votes will be crowned the winner of the 8th Annual Larry Hartzog's Twisted Brew Fest. That lucky person will receive a 1st place medal, their picture on the website and bragging rights until the next "Larry Fest" winner is crowned.
Homebrewers can enter their own homebrews in the festival contest by bringing at least five gallons or two cases of homebrew to the festival. You must register your homebrew before the festival to reserve a spot at the festival, and plan to pour drinks for guests yourself--no staff is available to pour for you. Register online at larrybrewfest.com. Entrants receive two event wristbands for each five gallons of homebrew.
It's good beer and fun while raising money for the Northshore Humane Society. Can't miss!
IMPORTANT: You must be 21 or over to attend this beer festival. You must present a valid government issued I.D. before receiving a wristband at the festival.
