The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra presents "Northshore Classics", a special series curated by new Music Director Matthew Kraemer featuring well-known classics to be performed at the LPO's new Northshore home, Fuhrmann Auditorium in Covington.

For its first season of performances, the Northshore Classics season opens on September 21, 2023 with Igor Stravinsky’s "Pulcinella", originally a ballet with arias for soprano, tenor, and bass vocal soloists. Stravinsky later extracted a suite of eight movements from his ballet and used instrumental passages to replace the singing roles. Experience a work that retains the charm of Baroque dances mixed with the harmonic and rhythmic inventiveness of twentieth-century Stravinsky.

Tickets are available as a subscription, allowing patrons to reserve seating for all four of the season's concerts at a discount and giving them the opportunity to renew those seats in future seasons. Individual tickets may be available as each concert nears.

Upcoming concerts include Handel’s "Messiah" (Dec. 21, 2023), Bach’s "Brandenburg Concerto" (Jan. 5, 2024), and Copland’s "Appalachian Spring" (March 14, 2024).
