At “Men Who Cook,” twenty local "celebrity" cooks (leaders across Greater New Orleans) partner with local restaurants in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes to prepare tastings of their favorite dishes in a competitive cook-off raising funds for Hope House Children's Advocacy Center.

Usually held on the top level of the parking garage adjacent to the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center complex, the 8th annual event will take an exciting new twist! From October 5 through November 8, 2020, 11+ teams, each comprised of a local celebrity paired with a top local restaurant, will compete to raise money for Hope House. Each team will host a "Hope House Week" at their restaurant. During that week, patrons will have the opportunity to donate on site for access to exclusive dine-in promotions and special offers.

Patrons can also contribute toward their favorite team online through November 8! The team with the highest fundraising total will win the award for "Most Money Raised for Hope House."

Your donation could count for DOUBLE! The IJN Foundation (In Jesus' Name) will match all donations up to $50,000! However, $50,000 must first be raised in order for Hope House to qualify for the matching contribution.

About Children’s Advocacy Center - Hope House:
The Children’s Advocacy Center—Hope House is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse in our communities. Hope House provides services to children and families in both St. Tammany and Washington Parishes. It is the only local agency that provides forensic interviews for children when allegations of abuse arise. It is not affiliated with any other agency, although it works collaboratively with law enforcement, the D.A.’s office, and the Dept. of Child and Family Services to facilitate communication so that children are protected and justice is served. For more information, contact Thomas at or (985) 892-3885 ext. 3.
