NAMI St. Tammany invites you to join them in their 7th Annual NAMIWalks St. Tammany, a family-friendly, pet-friendly 5K walk to bring awareness to mental health. The event takes place on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Safe Haven Campus, 23515 Hwy 190 in Mandeville. Check-in is 8 a.m., and the walks starts at 9 a.m.
NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI St. Tammany works to educate, support, advocate, listen and lead to improve the lives of people with mental illness and their loved ones. St. Tammany Parish has over 50,000 community members living with a mental illness. You can help make a difference by raising awareness and funds.
Help NAMI St. Tammany reach its fundraising goal of $30,000 and create a team, register to walk, volunteer and donate at www.namiwalks.org/sttammany.
Together, as a community, we can make a difference in the lives of St. Tammany residents living with a mental illness. Invite your friends, family, and co-workers to be part of your team and help NAMI to reach its fundraising goals. Registration is FREE, though donations are welcome.
