The Covington Business Association and City of Covington present the 2nd Annual Nightmare on Columbia, a stroll, costume contest and free concert on Saturday, Oct. 29!
Halloween costumes and revelry will fill Columbia Street in Downtown Covington as strollers go from tent to tent to sample 20+ craft cocktails and craft beers served by local businesses. Stroll patrons can also choose to participate in a costume contest, where cash prizes will be awarded for the best single costume ($100) and best group costume ($350; 2+ people). The evening will conclude with a FREE public concert at the Covington Trailhead featuring Deja Vu Band.
Nightmare on Columbia will take place rain or shine, 5-9:30 p.m. In the event of severe weather, the event will be held Sunday, October 30. Tickets are non-refundable and no pets are allowed.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
4-6 PM: Stroll cup/wristband pickup and costume contest registration at the Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire St.
5-7 PM: Stroll on Columbia Street, 200-600 blocks
7-8 PM: Costume contest with cash prizes at Covington Trailhead
Note that all costume contest participants must be ticketed stroll patrons.
8-9:30 PM: FREE Public Concert at the Covington Trailhead by Deja Vu Band
Note that food, beer and wine will be available for purchase during the concert.
