Come "pass a good time" to Cajun/Zydeco music at Abita Town Hall on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Northshore Cajun Dancers' monthly dance. The event includes free dance lessons, 7-7:30 p.m., with live music performance beginning at 8 p.m. featuring Bayou de Ville.
Admission is $12 for age 18 and up ($10 for members of Northshore Cajun Dancers Club), free for kids 12 and under. Youths under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
About Northshore Cajun Dancers Club
The Northshore Cajun Dancers Club was established in 1991 with a mission to promote the music and dancing of the Cajun people. A one-year membership (January to December) is $15, and includes a Christmas dinner dance in December as well as discounted admission to each dance.
Directions/Parking: I-12 to Mandeville/Abita Springs exit, north on LA-59 to downtown Abita; veer right from the roundabout onto Level Street to the Abita Town Hall. Parking is free in the field across from Town Hall or on the streets near Town Hall (please park legally).
