Northshore Cajun Dancers "pass a good time" to Cajun/Zydeco music each month. Dances are held at Abita Town Hall, 22161 Level Street in Abita Springs, Louisiana. The event includes free dance lessons with live music performances for a low cost of admission.
Free dance lessons are offered from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m., then stay to practice what you learned with the live music. The band starts at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $11, $9 for members.

*A holiday dance and buffet supper is offered in December for members. Non-members are welcome to participate in the dinner dance for the cost of $20.00.
The Northshore Cajun Dancers Club was established in 1991 with a mission to promote the music and dancing of the Cajun people. Membership can be purchased for $15 per person for a calendar year, beginning in January. Members receive a discount of $2 per monthly dance.
Event sponsor Abita Springs Trailhead Museum provides small portion entrees, desserts, snacks, soft drinks, beer, and wine at a nominal charge during the dances. Patronage of the concession stand supports the Museum and the Town of Abita Springs. Outside food and drinks not permitted.
Directions/Parking: I-12 to Mandeville/Abita Springs exit, north on LA-59 to downtown Abita; veer right from the roundabout onto Level Street to the Abita Town Hall. Parking is free in the field across from Town Hall or on the streets near Town Hall (please park legally).
