Northshore Cajun Dancers "pass a good time" to Cajun/Zydeco music each month at Abita Town Hall, 22161 Level Street in Abita Springs, Louisiana. The event includes free dance lessons with live music performances for a low cost of admission. Lessons are offered from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m., then stay to practice what you learned! The band starts at 8:00 p.m.

Admission for the December dinner and dance is $20 for non-members, $10 for members.

The Northshore Cajun Dancers Club was established in 1991 with a mission to promote the music and dancing of the Cajun people. Membership can be purchased for $15 per person for a calendar year, beginning in January. Members receive a discount of $2 per monthly dance.

Event sponsor Abita Springs Trailhead Museum provides small portion entrees, desserts, snacks, soft drinks, beer, and wine at a nominal charge during the dances. Patronage of the concession stand supports the Museum and the Town of Abita Springs. Outside food and drinks not permitted.
