Join the Northshore Cajun Dancers at Abita Springs Town Hall, Saturday, December 4, 2021, for their holiday dance and buffet supper, featuring live music by Bruce Daigrepont.
Northshore Cajun Dancers "pass a good time" to Cajun/Zydeco music each month at Abita Town Hall, 22161 Level Street in Abita Springs, Louisiana. The event includes free dance lessons with live music performances for a low cost of admission. Lessons are offered from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m., then stay to practice what you learned! The band starts at 8:00 p.m.
Admission for the December dinner and dance is $20 for non-members, $10 for members.
The Northshore Cajun Dancers Club was established in 1991 with a mission to promote the music and dancing of the Cajun people. Membership can be purchased for $15 per person for a calendar year, beginning in January. Members receive a discount of $2 per monthly dance.
Event sponsor Abita Springs Trailhead Museum provides small portion entrees, desserts, snacks, soft drinks, beer, and wine at a nominal charge during the dances. Patronage of the concession stand supports the Museum and the Town of Abita Springs. Outside food and drinks not permitted.
Directions/Parking: I-12 to Mandeville/Abita Springs exit, north on LA-59 to downtown Abita; veer right from the roundabout onto Level Street to the Abita Town Hall. Parking is free in the field across from Town Hall or on the streets near Town Hall (please park legally).
