Have you had your fill of news reports about "disrupted supply chains", shipping delays, packaging shortages and so on? Here's some good news: none of those hassles apply when you shop local!
On Saturday, December 11, 2021, come to Girod Street in Old Mandeville for its Shop Local event, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in a festive day of shopping, Old World style.
As a replacement for the Christmas Past Festival in these Covid times, Shop Local still includes some of the familiar, fun activities of the popular winter festival. Attendees are encouraged to get in the holiday spirit – costumes and holiday attire add to the festive atmosphere!
There's no better time than this holiday season to support your local crafters, makers, bakers, artists and merchants of all kinds. Residents keep local money local, while shoppers across the region know: St. Tammany Parish is the place to go for unique handmade items, superior food goods, and fine arts and crafts by the many artisans who call the Northshore home.
