Playmakers, Inc. presents the noir mystery Laura by Vera Caspary, onstage March 15-31, 2019. Laura tells the story of a Park Avenue society beauty who is brutally murdered in her apartment. Enter detective Mark McPherson, who falls for the strangely fascinating woman whose death he is investigating. As he tries to get inside the head of the victim, he questions the men in her life – acerbic critic Waldo Lydecker and playboy fiancé Shelby Carpenter. He must solve the case by sifting through each one’s contrasting perceptions of the woman they loved.
Directed by Deborah Marcelle and starring Robert Fielding as Mark McPherson, Jessie Meltz as A Girl, Arden Allen Dufilho as Bessie Clary, Alan Albeyta as Waldo Lydecker, Kristina Kingston as Mrs. Dorgan, Stephen Simpson as Danny Dorgan and Paul Tusa as Shelby Carpenter.

The theater is located approximately 4 miles north of Covington in the San Souci Forest, at 19106 Playmakers Rd., off Hwy. 437/ N. Lee Rd. If traveling north, turn left at Playmakers Road and follow the road until it ends, at the theater. You will be directed where to park.
