The Q50 Races "Bleau Moon" 5 & 10 Miler is a unique trail event. It happens at night! The 13th annual run through beautiful Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville is a fast, flat course alongside Lake Pontchartrain, taking place on Saturday, August 20, 2022, starting at 8:15 p.m. Registration/packet pick-up starts at 6:30 p.m.
Kids can join the night run, too: the Children’s Race, starting at 7:45 p.m., is a 200-yd. race just for fun--no fee, no t-shirts, no prizes, just fun!
Admission is free for spectators (+$3 park entrance fee). Entry fees for racers are, for the 5-Miler, $50, and for the 10-Miler, $55. Registration opens April 1, closing Wednesday, August 18 at 11:59 p.m.

As this is a nighttime race, a headlamp (and batteries) and bug spray are a must, and runners should be prepared for hot weather. And, as it is a trail race, no dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles or earphones will be permitted.
There will be no aid stations on the course, only water stations where water will be provided; however, bottles and cups will not. Runners must bring their own bottles. For safety reasons, companions, friends or family will only be able to assist runners at the start/finish line. For safety reasons, no vehicles will be permitted to accompany any runner at any time during the race. See full details at the link above.
