Q50 Races presents Run to the Hills, Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, a 5 or 10 mile race on a scenic, dirt course with small hills. Handmade medals and awards given in both the 10 mile and 5 mile races.
The race starts at Day Use Area Pavilion 3. Registration/packet pick-up is 6:30 a.m. to 7:40 a.m., followed by a race meeting at 7:45. Both the 5 mile and 10 mile races start at 8 a.m. Refreshments will be provided by the New Orleans Mission shelter.
Admission for spectators is free (+$3 park entrance fee), runners fees are, for the 5-Miler, $45 ($55 after May 31), and for the 10-Miler, $50 ($60 after May 31).

Bug spray are a must, and runners should be prepared for hot weather. And, as it is a trail race, no dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles or earphones will be permitted. There will be no aid stations on the course, only water stations where water will be provided; however, bottles and cups will not.

Bogue Chitto State Park is located at 17049 State Park Blvd, Franklinton, LA 70438. From I-12, take US 190 north to Hwy. 25. Travel approximately 20 miles, then turn right onto State Park Blvd. The entrance to the park is one mile on the left. GPS Coordinates: N 30.767527983, W -90.1573070.
