Santa on Trails 5K Run/Walk 2022

Come and run/walk this 5K (3 miles) in a Santa suit and bring a toy for the children of the New Orleans Mission shelter. This Q50 trail race takes place in Mandeville's beautiful Fontainebleau State Park on a fast, flat track by Lake Pontchartrain on Sunday, December 4, 2022, starting at 9 a.m. Registration/packet pick-up opens at 7:30 a.m.

Refreshments will be provided by the New Orleans Mission. All ages welcome, and all participants will get a Santa beard, a hat and a cool t-shirt, food and refreshments from the New Orleans Mission, a handmade medal, and lots of hugs and smiles.

Admission is free for spectators (+$3 park entrance fee). Racers' early-bird and regular fees will be announced on the registration website, closes on Thursday, December 1 at 11:59 p.m.

As this is a trail race, no dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles or earphones will be permitted. There will be no aid stations on the course, only water stations where water will be provided; however, bottles and cups will not. Runners must bring their own bottles. For safety reasons, companions, friends or family will only be able to assist runners at the start/finish line. For safety reasons, no vehicles will be permitted to accompany any runner at any time during the race.

Proceeds of the event benefit the New Orleans Mission shelter and the children housed through the Mission. Participants must bring a new, unwrapped toy (no price limit) for the children at the shelter. Learn more about the New Orleans Mission at
